Rockville, MD — Scheer Partners is pleased to welcome Eric Jodts as Senior Associate, expanding the firm’s brokerage and advisory capabilities in Montgomery County and the greater Washington region. Eric will focus on serving government contractors, technology-driven organizations, and other businesses seeking strategic commercial real estate solutions.
Eric joins Scheer Partners following nearly two decades at Westat, where he worked with organizations including NASA, the FAA, National Science Foundation, CDC, and U.S. Census Bureau. Throughout his career, he developed strategic solutions to complex challenges, built trusted client relationships, and competed for and executed multimillion-dollar contracts.

Eric brings that same consultative approach to commercial real estate, taking the time to understand each client’s business objectives before developing a real estate strategy. Whether a company is considering a new lease, relocation, expansion, consolidation, or long-term occupancy plan, his focus is on helping clients make informed decisions that support their broader business goals.
His experience also includes leading complex initiatives and large teams. Eric built a data collection operation from the ground up in Doha, Qatar, and later served as Deputy Director of a 225-person research operations center. These roles strengthened his ability to navigate complex decisions, align multiple stakeholders, and move strategies from concept through successful execution.
Eric is deeply engaged in the Montgomery County business community. He served for seven years on the Board of the Greater Rockville Chamber of Commerce, including as Board Chair in 2024. He is also a graduate of Leadership Montgomery’s CORE program and currently participates in its Advance program.
