Gaithersburg, MD – New company Biocerna has just opened its new laboratory along the Interstate 270 technology corridor.
Scheer Partners, the leading provider of fully integrated commercial real estate services for the health science industry in the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas, announces today that it has negotiated on behalf of Biocerna in a roughly 3,000-square-foot lease at 401 Professional Drive in Gaithersburg.
In this long-term deal, Scheer Partners Senior Vice President Matt Brady represented Biocerna, a soon-to-be CLIA-certified lab offering a broad range of innovative genetic and immunologic tests that is led by Christopher Sanders.
Previously, Sanders served as the Senior Director of Operations in the Medco Research Institute, where he oversaw Medco’s laboratory and clinical recruitment operations focused on personalized medicine R&D.

Pasadena, Calif.-based Alexandria Real Estate Equities owns the building at 401 Professional Drive.
