Rockville, MD – Scheer Partners, the leading provider of fully integrated commercial real estate services in the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas, announces today that it represented Dr. Bill Bush, a local veterinary neurologist/neurosurgeon, in the acquisition of a 2.8-acre parcel together with 32,000 square feet at 1 Taft Court in Rockville, Md.
This 32,000-square-foot building is currently undergoing a $3 million renovation and will provide state-of-the-art, board-certified veterinary specialty services, such as a high-field MRI, 24/7 emergency services, cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, avian/exotics, as well as dog day-care services. This unique facility will be called the Hope Center-Rockville.
A team at Scheer Partners including Senior Vice Presidents Matt Brady and Henry Bernstein represented Dr. Bush and the Hope Center-Rockville in this transaction. According to Bernstein, “For serious pet owners, this veterinary hospital is a dream come true, as it provides unique, integrated veterinary health-care services, which are currently not available in the area.”
Adds Brady, “We are very excited about the relationship with Bush Veterinary Neurology Services and the Hope Center. We believe they fill a large void in the local and regional veterinary health-care community and expect their business to do extraordinarily well in this location.”
Scheer Partners Management Services, headed by Marc Schlesinger, will oversee all of the construction-related activities and has engaged Street Sense as the project architects and Coakley & Williams as the general contractor.
