SCHEER PARTNERS HIRED BY DANAC TO LEASE REMAINING SPACE AT TWO BUILDINGS IN OLD TOWNE GAITHERSBURG

Gaithersburg, MD – Scheer Partners, the leading provider of fully integrated commercial real estate services in the Washington and Baltimore metropolitan areas, announces today that Chevy Chase-based Danac has engaged the Rockville-based company to market two prime office buildings at 12 S. Summit Ave. and 16 S. Summit Ave. in Old Towne Gaithersburg.

Scheer Partners Senior Vice Presidents Nate Crowe and Henry Bernstein, as well as Aaron Gambini, a commercial leasing agent, are handling the marketing responsibilities for 12 S. Summit Ave. and 16 S. Summit Ave.

At 16 S. Summit Ave., a three-story, 42,000-square-foot property constructed in 1998, 29,332 square feet remain available. The space includes a 14,000-square-foot full floor with high-end custom finishes. Crowe, Bernstein and Gambini are marketing this building to prime headquarters office users in the Gaithersburg, North Rockville and Rockville submarkets.

Says Crowe, “The first-floor space with signage and a separate entrance would make an ideal fit for medical uses, such as a surgery center or walk-in health clinic.”

At 12 S. Summit Ave., up to 7,000 square feet, including 5,000 square feet of office space and 2,000 square feet of terrace-level space, are available for lease in the four-story, 70,000-square-foot building, which Scheer Partners is marketing to office users in the Gaithersburg, North Rockville and Rockville submarkets.

“We’re excited that Danac has engaged us to lease all the remaining available space at 12 S. Summit Ave. and 16 S. Summit Ave.,” Gambini says. “These two properties, in the heart of the Old Towne Gaithersburg amenity base, feature ample free parking and competitive rental rates, and they are conveniently located within walking distance of the nearby MARC Station.”

“The city of Gaithersburg has really stepped up its business-attraction program and is one of the most business-friendly jurisdictions in the state of Maryland,” Bernstein adds. “Besides all of the great new development in the downtown area, our future tenants will enjoy a very quick and friendly building-permit process.”
