Firm also Represents Biosynexus in Lease Renewal
Rockville, md --- Scheer Partners, a leading provider of commercial real estate services to the biotech industry, announced it recently brokered a sublease on behalf of the Technology Council of Maryland (TCM) for its new location at the JDA Software building at 9715 Key West Ave., Rockville, Md.
TCM, which represents the technology community in suburban Maryland, recently merged with MdBio, causing the need for additional space of 5,752 square feet. MdBio is a private non-profit corporation that promotes and supports Maryland’s bioscience industry.
Henry Bernstein and Matt Brady with Scheer Partners represented TCM in the transaction. JDA Software Group is the sublandlord.
According to Mr. Brady, “TCM frequently hosts events and needed headquarters space to facilitate large gatherings. Also, with the merger with MDBio, TCM sought space with additional amenities for its members. We were able to locate and negotiate the best of these options on behalf of TCM.”
In addition, Mr. Bernstein and the late Ken Berkman represented Biosynexus in its 8,000-square-foot lease renewal at 9298 Gaither Road, Gaithersburg, Md.
The landlord is Minkoff Development Corporation.
