Tysons Corner, VA (May 23, 2007) – Scheer Partners Inc., a leading provider of commercial real estate consulting services in the greater Washington metropolitan area, announced today its representation of Clutch Legal Staffing, an executive search firm focused on the legal community, in the lease of the first office in Midtown Manhattan.
After establishing a strong reputation of fulfilling the personnel needs of District law firms, Clutch Legal Staffing needed to enhance its practice with a permanent office in New York. “We were experiencing growth in DC and had clients in NY. We needed to have a presence in NY to further our client base there,” said Paul Mandell, President of Clutch Legal Staffing. While Scheer Partners has a fifteen-year reputation of unparalleled service to greater Washington area clients, the firm partnered with Tungsten Properties, a New York based firm, to assist with the project. “Our regional depth is a differentiator, but another key attribute is our corporate flexibility, which allows us to partner appropriately for the good of the client,” noted Mike Norris, Director, Scheer Partners.
Just like in DC, certain areas in New York City have become more popular than others, which led to similar challenges. “We needed something close to Grand Central Station – a highly accessible area. It was raw space that we could tailor to fit our needs,” said Mandell. Also, as with our regional market, understanding the differences is critical. “In NY it is important to get the most out of the space you have available to you. Guidance on layout of that space is highly important,” continued Mandell.
Consistent involvement throughout the project is part of what Scheer Partners’ clients have come to rely upon. “Mike is in tune with markets in major metro areas. We were impressed with his prior assistance with is in DC. He is very active from start to finish, and is a useful advisor especially in negotiations,” added Mandell.
