McLean, VA (October 18, 2006) - Scheer Partners Inc., a leading provider of commercial real estate consulting services in the greater Washington metropolitan area, announced today its representation of P2 Communications Management, a customized Telecom Expense Management company, in the sublease of their first Washington office in Reston.
After establishing a presence in New York and completing an increasing number of projects in the Washington area, the company needed a facility that was both flexible and low cost to accommodate future growth. Dan Pavolic, Co-Founder of P2cm, said “The long-term plan in the Greater Washington Region is to establish our proven experience and value in both the small and mid-market business community by assisting them in all aspects of their Telecommunications decisions.” Pavolic added, “In a industry that is consolidating, and at the same time evolving with VoIP technologies, it is even more important for businesses to seek the professional guidance that will ensure rock solid solutions from proven carrier networks and technologies”
Negotiating the right facility solution within the term and budgetary constraints in that market was a challenge. “The growing amenity base, access to customers and proximity to employees continues to make Reston an attractive but tough market for tenants,” said Mike Norris, senior associate at Scheer Partners’ Tysons office. “We were able to dig deep into the market to uncover and negotiate an opportunity for a new, below-market and flexible facility,” Norris added.
“My advice to others that are facing a real estate decision in this area is to work with Mike Norris, he did a fantastic job for us. The amount of space that we were looking for certainly made it challenging,” said Pavolic.
