SCHEER PARTNERS BROKERS SALE OF 350 ACRES IN BOWIE, MARYLAND
BOWIE, MD --- Scheer Partners, a regional full service commercial real estate firm, announced it recently brokered the sale of a 350-acre parcel in Bowie, Md. for $3.2 million.
David McClatchy and Charlie Dukes with Scheer Partners represented the seller, the City of Bowie, in the transaction. The purchaser was The Trust for Public Land.
The property, which runs along the Patuxent River, will be preserved and become part of Prince George’s County’s Patuxent River Scenic Trail, a hiker, biker, and equestrian path along the river. The trail will ultimately traverse 60 miles along the eastern edge of Prince George’s County.
According to David McClatchy, senior vice president, “This is a win-win transaction. The City of Bowie received a fair price for undeveloped land, and the Trust will preserve this beautiful property for the future benefit and enjoyment of area residents.”
